To understand how the cardiovascular and respiratory systems cope with high exercise levels, and how different interventions can improve cardiorespiratory fitness and physical performance. To enhance existing exercise training protocols and search for new horizons in exercise interventions. To clarify how different populations respond to training interventions and exercise testing so that better choices can be made by coaches and physicians.
