FOCUS Project 2013

In 2013, the Exercise Physiology Lab supported the Focus Project cieo. The objective of this project cieo was to design and build the world´s fastest human powered vehicle. Cieo was an ambitious tandem bicycle project, combining high-tech aerodynamics and material together with excellent athletic preparation of the 'powering' sportsmen.

On July 26, 2013, this human powered tandem won the 1-hour tandem world record, racing at 83km/hour!
